Mong Kok District
The bustling Hong Kong district of Mong Kok – which means “busy corner” in Cantonese, is one of the most densely populated places on Earth!
I learned that street food has always been a part of daily life there, many people eat all three meals on the go.
apartments and kitchens are so tiny (the average family of four lives in a 500 sq. ft. apartment) that Hong Kongers prefer to eat out as much as they can.
Needless to say, I took advantage of every opportunity to enjoy the cuisine 🙂
