apartments and kitchens are so tiny (the average family of four lives in a 500 sq. ft. apartment) that Hong Kongers prefer to eat out as much as they can.

…Hong Kong Dollars have a great exchange rate. One US dollar is equal to about 8 HKD.

Needless to say, I took advantage of every opportunity to enjoy the cuisine 🙂
